As the title says, this is the Western gang's territory. Their relationship with the Eastern gang is shakey-both are protecitve of their territories, but they will sometimes trade with one another.

1.) Roleplayers must stick with the Bleach universe-anything that goes against the laws of that universe are not allowed.

2.) Canon characters are allowed IF they remain in character-the only exception is if the character has matured (for example, if someone was previously very childish and have now become more like an adult, that is acceptable.)

3.) To create original characters, please use the template found on the "character" board.

4.) Since this is twenty years later, anything could've happened. The person who is approved for a canon character-or a reincarnation-can decide what happened to the canon character (in the case of an original character in the position of a canon character-such as a captain of squad seven-the fate of the predecessor would be nice to know).

5.) PLEASE keep anything above PG-13~including fanfictions and artwork~in the "NC-17" section.

6.) Multiple characters are allowed-including canon characters.

7.) Profiles are subject to change, since characters grow and can change races. Any changes must be approved by me or one of the moderators. (Changes include going from one race to another.)

8.) Be courteous to other roleplayers and follow the basic rp ettiquete (no godmoding or powerplaying.)

9.) Any NPC's that come into the story are controlled by the person who brought them in.

10.) Consequences for breaching these rules will be determined by the admin.

The Story

Twenty years have passed since the Winter War. Karakura Town is like the rest of the world-a large group of empty, ruined buildings. The people who live there have divided themselves into groups with only one goal in mind-survival. How did this Hell on Earth come to be? The answer lies in the past, of course.

During the battle for Karakura, many of the captains, their lieutenants, and other shinigami from Soul Society had come down to fight the three traitors-Sosuke Aizen, Gin Ichimaru, and Kaname Tosen-and the arrancar they gathered with them. The fate of the world rested on who would emerge victorious.

However, the Living World was not meant to withstand such force-and from so many. It was said that the world shook as blades collided-though this might have been added later when the story was passed down to the ears of the children. Whatever the case was, by the time the battle was going to draw to a close the Earth had become almost as barren as the sands of Hueco Mundo.

Both sides had to accept the fact that if the fighting continued the world would be destroyed. A draw was called and both sides retreated, leaving the inhabitants to pick up the pieces.

Yet the war was far from over. Both sides still prepare for another battle-one that would end it once and for all. This, however, is another side of the story. For now, we will concentrate on the inhabitants of the Living World, struggling to make the most of what is left. There are even rumors that some who died in the Winter War have been reborn in the Living world-both sides looking for these reincarnations to tip the balance in their favor...
